Philippine marker for flower bed in Prague 6

Ambassador Salas with Tomas Chalupa, Mayor of Prague 6, district where majority of Diplomatic Residences are situated.  Meeting with the Mayor included agreement on Philippine participation in Prague 6 project of dotting with flower beds, one of the greenest districts in Prague. An initiative of Mayor Chalupa, in cooperation with Embassies with residences in Prague 6, flower beds change with the seasons and are marked with the countries' flags.

Right photo shows the Philippine Flower Bed (comprised of White and Rose colored Brassica Oleracea with Calluna Vulgaris) located at Vitezne Namesti, a major square in Prague 6. Located by the street Svatovitska which leads to St. Vitus Cathedral located on Prague Castle grounds, the location is remarkable for the Philippines being the only Catholic Country in Asia.
